This is your opportunity to become a trusted and commercially aware member of a high performing IP team that undertakes a broad range of challenging Front-End design activities across IP Controller Design, Verification, Emulation, FPGA validation, Software Development and Quality Assurance. This team of IP Architects and Engineers are active in Industry Standards Bodies helping to define the next generation of electronics products. 

Position Requirements:
·         Experience of Verilog RTL Design essential
·         Experience of Metric Driven Verification (MDV) essential
·         Experience of Storage protocols (SD, Octal SPI, ONFI Flash, eMMC) essential
·         Experience of Front-end design tools covering LINT, Synthesis, CDC Analysis essential
·         Experience of Digital DLLs and Asynchronous communication preferred
·         Experience of SoC Architecture and Development with Flash Storage preferred
·         Experience of AMBA protocols such as AXI, AHB & APB preferred
·         Experience of Quality processes, such as ISO-9001 & ISO-26262 preferred
·         Experience of Assertion Based Formal verification preferred
·         Be outward going and communicate easily      

Candidate Qualifications:
A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related discipline.
Demonstrable commercial experience in microelectronics/EDA industry

This role will suit a self-motivated and organised person with good planning, interpersonal and communication (oral and written English) skills.
The role is based in Edinburgh with some worldwide travel required.
