Enigma People Solutions’ brilliant, high-growth client, specialises in the design of customised ICs using ARM Cortex-M based micro-controllers and integrate Analog and mixed signal, RF and Power Management IPs bringing a complete solution to their international customer base. Continued business success means they are continuing to expand having recently moved into a new Edinburgh city centre location that will allow them to double the size of their current design team. 

Your role as an ATE Test Engineer will include but not be limited to:
Develop and document test plan for new devices.
Design and debug test SW & HW for Production & Reliability.
Debug new silicon.
Bring quality and cost-effective test solution for mass production.
Oversee test related activities (HW & SW) with both internal and external test house.
Implement test programs, modify and release into offsite production

Key skills and experience required for the role are:
• In depth knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing Process
• Deep understanding of Digital, RF and Analog Fundamental, Design for Test and Manufacturing Concepts
• Expertise in Semiconductor Test Methodology
• Experience working on Digital, Mixed Signal, PMIC Devices with hands on VLSI ATE experience.
• System level & RF/SOC experience is a plus
• Strong programming skills for writing and debugging test programs and HW related issues. 
Competency in programming with Scripting languages (ie., Perl/Python) and high-level languages (ie., C/C++ or JAVA)
• Preferred knowledge on V93000 SOC Tester – Smartest 7 or Smartest 8
• Validated experience with test equipment (ie., oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc)
