Enigma People Solutions is recruiting a Programme Manager with experience of project managing ASIC design projects for external customers. Join our fast-growing fabless semiconductor company that specialises in the design of innovative mixed-signal System-on-Chip (SoC) solutions for automotive applications. Our client designs and develops custom and standard SoC solutions for automotive applications which integrate advanced digital ICs (Arm®Cortex® MCUs and/or DSP) with mixed-signal devices into a single System-in-Package (SiP). The mixed signal can include power management, RF, high voltage as well as high speed convertors allowing us to provide complete solutions to our international customer base. You will join an established but growing international team of highly competent engineers that are creating brand new designs to implement the advanced sensing, connectivity and control required to enable modern automotive applications.

You will join a team of highly competent engineers that are creating brand new designs in the field of Wireless and USB power delivery, sensing systems, connectivity (LIN, CAN, Ethernet) with MCU technologies within the car. You will lead the ASIC core team on a project-based execution to ensure schedule, cost and quality of all the deliverables are met. You must be able to manage multiple projects at various stages of development from product definition to production ramp.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design planning and execution of mixed-signal, power and RFIC products across all facets of design from concept to production ramp. This may also include overseeing new IP development within an ASIC Project.
  • Represent the ASIC team in interfacing with senior management, product management, and customers including regular reporting and escalation when required.
  • Champion the development & deployment of best practices to improve program performance, efficiency, and produce repeatable results across a growing business.
  • Support the Technical Lead (Chip Lead) of the ASIC development to ensure a smooth program execution.
  • Ensure Engineering Project Management follow company gate review process.
  • Drive accountability and awareness, solve problems, remove roadblocks, and proactively search out and address risks or weaknesses to ensure the project meets quality standards and completes on time and in budget.
  • Responsible for end-to-end project planning & rigorous execution management to improve project execution certainty.
  • Enable communication & visibility to ensure alignment at all levels of the organization, spearhead corporate initiatives supporting various lateral organization such as Marketing, Quality, Test Engineering, Logistic, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Microelectronics or similar
  • Relevant and substantial background in managing complex integrated circuit development projects
  • Strong project management and program management fundamentals, understanding of product- and process development in terms of project initiation, planning and tracking, including reporting and documentation
  • Must possess strong leadership and communication skills to work with cross-functional silicon development teams to meet internal and customer commitments
  • Project Management Certification acc. to IPMA, PMI
  • Experience with IC product development cycles, concept to production, Automotive development environment including Functional Safety Requirements (ISO26262)
  • English skills (business fluent)
