Enigma People Solutions is recruiting a highly talented electronics engineer with experience in product design to join the growing team of our Cambridge based technology startup. Our client has built an affordable, high quality fingerprint scanner designed for health workers treating patients on the frontlines. The company is expanding into neonate and multi-modal biometrics, and have the resources to do it well. Your role will be to drive hardware development, help coordinate technical partners along the design pathway, and manage the manufacture and test of the company's hardware products. You’ll also backup the software team on the embedded code, explore new technologies coming on the market, and take a lead on a range of exciting projects as the company grows.

In the short term you’re going to ensure manufacturing runs smoothly, supervise technology partners, and explore alternative build options. If you rise to the challenge, in the future you’ll lead the entire engineering R&D team, working on new technologies like mobile diagnostics and environmental sensors.

Key Skills:
Experience with electronic product design
Experience taking a product from design through to manufacture
Basic embedded C programming skills
Bonus points for experience with medical products and sensors

Communication. Interpersonal skills to manage contractors and lead a team
